AVAILABLE SIZES: 45 kgs/drum | 4 kgs/pail

  1. Turn on Pentair Filtration System.
  2. Check the alkalinity level and chlorine level using Pentair 4-in-1 Test Kit. If the alkalinity level is ideal but chlorine level is below 1ppm, add Chlorine.
  3. Calculate the required amount of 70% Chlorine your pool needs using Dosage Calculator.
  4. Pre-dissolve required Chlorine in a pail using pool water then pour into the pool away from Pentair metal fittings and skimmers or into the pool perimeter.
  5. Wait for 1-2 hours and re-check chlorine level using Pentair 4-in-1 Test Kit.
  6. Repeat procedure until chlorine level is ideal (1-3 ppm).
  7. Add Dry acid to balance, since adding chlorine has a significant effect on pH. See effects of pH in pool
  8. Calculate the required amount of dry acid using Dosage Calculator.
  9. Repeat procedure 4 using dry acid instead of chlorine until pH level is ideal (7.2-7.6)

Oxidizer. May cause fire or explosion when made contact with acid, alkali, oil, and the like. Prolonged exposure may cause serious eye, skin and respiratory irritation.

If inhaled, immediately move to fresh air. If in eyes, wash thoroughly with running water for at least 15 minutes. If on skin, remove clothes and/or wash contaminated area with running water. If irritation persists and/or ingested, get prompt medical attention.

AVAILABLE SIZES: 50 kgs/drum | 4 kgs/pail

  1. Turn on Pentair Filtration System.
  2. Check the alkalinity level and chlorine level using Pentair 4-in-1 Test Kit. If the alkalinity level is ideal but chlorine level is below 1ppm, add Chlorine.
  3. Calculate the required amount of SDIC your pool needs using Dosage Calculator.
  4. Pre-dissolve required SDIC in a pail using pool water then pour into the pool away from Pentair metal fittings and skimmers or into the pool perimeter.
  5. Wait for 1-2 hours and re-check chlorine level using Pentair 4-in-1 Test Kit.
  6. Repeat procedure until chlorine level is ideal (1-3 ppm).
  7. Since pH of SDIC is almost neutral, there is no need to add pH balancer.
  • pH is almost neutral so it does not need pH balancers such as Dry Acid nor Soda Ash.
  • Contains cyanuric acid which serves as sun screen preventing chlorine from quick dissipation.
  • Save up to 73% chlorine consumption compared to Calcium Hypochlorite per month.

  8. Repeat procedure 4 using soda ash instead of chlorine until pH level is ideal (7.2-7.6).

  2. Check the pH level using Pentair 4-in-1 Test Kit. If the pH level is higher than 7.6, add Dry Acid.
  3. Calculate the required amount of Dry Acid using Dosage Calculator for initial dosage, and refer to Dry Acid Demand Chart for the next requirements.
  4. Pre-dissolve required Dry Acid in a pail using pool water then pour into the pool away from Pentair metal fittings and skimmers or into the pool perimeter.
  5. Wait for 1-2 hours and re-check pH level using Pentair 4-in-1 Test Kit.
  6. Repeat procedure until pH level is ideal (7.2-7.6).

Irritant. May cause serious eye and respiratory irritation. May be harmful if swallowed.

If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for at least 20 minutes. Immediately call a doctor/physician. If inhaled, move to fresh air and keep affected person at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If irritation persists, get prompt medical attention. Seek medical attention immediately if ingested.
